Kailey Hagen, CFP®

Kailey Hagen has more than a decade of experience writing about financial topics that run the gamut from credit cards and bank accounts to Social Security and retirement plans. She understands that financial literacy can literally change lives and is committed to sharing what she's learned to help others.

Kailey began her career as a researcher helping popular review sites select the best products for consumers. During that time, she came to recognize many of the challenges people face in selecting financial products. When she launched her freelancing career in 2017, she quickly turned her attention to all things finance in the hope of cutting through some of that confusion and giving people the confidence they need to make the best choices for their situation.

She obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in April 2025.
