SAN MATEO, Calif., June 18, 2025 — Achieve, the leader in digital personal finance, announces the promotion of Heather Marcom to Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Marcom has served as Achieve’s vice president of talent acquisition for nearly eight years. As SVP of Human Resources, Marcom will now oversee the company’s HR operations, talent strategy, employee compensation and benefits, working out of Achieve’s office in Tempe, Arizona. During her time at Achieve, Marcom has led high-impact recruiting, HR technology and career development strategies that helped scale the company’s workforce and fuel its continued growth, including establishing remote hubs of Achieve teammates in Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and El Paso, Texas, as well as Orlando and Tampa, Florida.

“I’m honored to step into this new role and continue building on the incredible foundation that our team has established for Achieve,” Marcom said. “Achieve is a place where people truly matter, and I’m excited to continue nurturing an environment that helps every employee feel valued, supported and set up to build long, successful careers with us.”

Marcom’s appointment comes as Achieve Executive Vice President of Human Resources Linda Luman prepares to pursue nonprofit work in the Phoenix area.

“It’s been a privilege to transition from my professional career with such a wonderful company to give back to our communities through nonprofit work,” said Luman. “The team at Achieve is one-of-a-kind, and I’m confident the people-first culture we’ve built will continue to thrive under Heather’s leadership.”

Under Luman and Marcom’s leadership, Achieve has established a reputation for attracting, developing and retaining top talent across the country, earning the company numerous awards and accolades, including being named to Az Business Magazine’s AZ Big 100 (2023-2025), 10 Best Places to Work in Financial Services (2025) and Arizona's Most Admired Companies (2021-2024) lists; 14 appearances in the Phoenix Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work list, including first-place rankings in 2023, 2022, 2021, 2016 and 2017.

“Heather has been instrumental in building and strengthening our team over the past several years,” said Achieve Co-Founder and Co-CEO Brad Stroh. “She deeply understands our culture and mission, and I’m thrilled to see her take on this important leadership role.”

“Heather’s promotion is a natural next step for someone who’s consistently led with heart and vision,” said Co-Founder and Co-CEO Andrew Housser. “And I want to thank Linda for her exceptional leadership — she’s made a lasting impact on our people, our culture and our company.”
